1. Configure the website integration
- Open MAY Business Admin.
- Go to Integrations and select the website / public widget configuration available for your business.
- Select the customer-facing AI employee and configure the supported appearance and behaviour options.
- Add the domains that are allowed to host the widget when domain controls are available.
- Save the configuration and copy the generated embed snippet.
2. Add the generated embed code
Use the generated snippet, not a guessed production URL
MAY can change widget asset paths or configuration fields between releases. Copy the exact snippet shown by Business Admin for your environment.
Embed pattern
<!-- Paste the exact snippet generated by MAY Business Admin -->
<script
src="YOUR_MAY_WIDGET_SCRIPT_URL"
data-may-widget="YOUR_PUBLIC_WIDGET_ID"
defer>
</script>3. Where to place it
For a traditional HTML site, place the generated snippet near the end of the page before </body>. For a framework application, load it once in the application shell rather than once per component render.
HTML placement

The public widget must not contain your private MAY API key. Use the widget identifier/configuration issued specifically for the public website experience.
5. If the widget does not appear
