1. Complete your business profile
Finish onboarding in Business Admin so MAY knows the business identity, industry context and the core information needed by the rest of the workspace.
2. Add locations and your team
Set up the locations customers can interact with and invite the people who will manage conversations, CRM activity and administration.
3. Build the catalogue
Add products or services as structured data. Use catalogue fields for facts that should be precise: price, variant, attributes, availability, location-specific commercial information and other business-defined fields.
4. Add approved knowledge
Upload business documents, policies, brochures, FAQs and other approved sources. Keep structured product facts in Catalogue and explanatory documents in Knowledge.
Use Catalogue for exact attributes and Knowledge for explanation, policy and supporting documents. This makes answers easier to verify and maintain.
5. Configure your AI employees
Use MAY Studio to define how each customer-facing AI employee represents the business, what role it performs and how it should hand off to another specialist or a human team member.
6. Add workflows
Connect customer intent to actions such as lead updates, follow-ups, appointments, quotes, notifications and handoffs. Start with the smallest workflow that creates a useful outcome, then expand.
7. Connect channels
Connect the channels your customers use. For a website, follow the website widget guide. For custom applications, use the API guide and webhooks.
